As the oldest continually operating live theatre in North Carolina, Mountain Theatre Company has become a cultural treasure of the Western North Carolina community.

As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit professional theatre, Mountain Theatre Company annually raises funds to support ongoing operating expenses. Your generous support makes the entertainment and outreach programs of Mountain Theatre Company possible. Gifts allow us to offer affordable tickets, offer high-quality productions and programming, and provide free live theatre tickets to every student (age 18 and under) of Macon, Jackson, Transylvania, and Rabun Counties.

Ticket sales only cover a portion of our production expenses, and, as a donor to our annual operating budget, you make it possible for the show to go on. Unrestricted gifts to Mountain Theatre Company are 100% tax-deductible.
