MTC’s 2026 Mainstage Season: Your Entertainment Destination
Mountain Theatre Company (MTC) proudly announces our highly anticipated 88th MainStage Season, featuring three blockbuster productions that promise joy, connection, and
world-class entertainment. The 2026 lineup includes the all-new original musical Dancin’ in the
Street, the high-energy multimedia spectacular Showstoppers!, and Highlands’ most cherished
tradition returning in a brand-new production, Home for the Holidays: A Joyful Noise.
“Our 2026 season is pure celebration,” says Scott Daniel, Executive Artistic Director. “These
shows are bursting with heart, humor, and incredible music that defined generations. Whether it’s
dancing in the street, singing along to movie musical classics, or celebrating the magic of the
holidays, this season is designed to bring our entire community together through joy.”
🕺🏼Dancin’ in the Street
June 24 - July 12, 2026
Get ready to laugh, swoon, and dance in your seat — because the music that defined generations
comes alive on stage like never before! This heartwarming new musical follows neighbors, friends,
and couples as they find love, rediscover family, and celebrate life, all set to an unforgettable
soundtrack of folk, funk, disco, soul, and Motown favorites. From “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” and “Both Sides Now” to “This Will Be,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “Last Dance,” the score is packed with iconic hits that will keep your heart singing and your feet moving.
At intermission, the celebration doesn’t stop as the entire audience is invited onstage for a block
party, with onstage bar service, so you can dance the night away to ABBA, the Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, and more. “It’s theatre like you’ve never experienced before."
🎭Showstoppers!
August 12 - 30, 2026
The ultimate movie-musical celebration returns! Showstoppers! is a high-energy, 90-minute

With dazzling costumes, cinematic visuals, and a world-class professional cast, this production is pure, exhilarating entertainment for the whole family.
