Q: What is the cost of tickets? 
A: Film - $12.00, Live Show - $45.00. Special Events are priced differently. Prices quoted do not include taxes or applicable processing fees.

Q: I purchased tickets, but cannot make the show. Can I refund or exchange my tickets?

A: All tickets are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds and cannot guarantee exchanges. Any tickets must be exchanged for a different date of the same production with available seats. A $5/ticket exchange fee for date/time changes will be applied, and a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your currently scheduled performance is required.
 

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: We recommend arriving 20 - 30 minutes before show time.

 

Q: What do I do if I keep getting sent to voicemail?
A: If you are calling during non-business hours, or while we are serving other patrons, please leave us a message and we will return your call as soon as we are able. If you are calling to book tickets, we recommend utilizing our convenient 24/7 online box-office system. Our box office is open Wednesday - Sunday: 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

 

Q: Can I rent the venue for a private event?
A: We have great rates for luncheons, parties, events, meetings, and even private movie showings. Send us an email at admin@mountaintheatre.com or call us at 828-526-2695 for more information .

 

Q: My friend gets great response from advertising at the Playhouse. How can I put my business on the big screen in your program?
A: With our attendance now over 10,000 people per year, you should consider taking advantage of the captive audience, as many arrive about a half hour prior to the shows. Email marketing@mountaintheatre.com for details regarding advertising rates.

Q: Are movies playing at the Playhouse this Fall/Winter?

A: As you may have heard, our Board is very close to finalizing a move to the beautiful new Performing Arts Center. Assuming all goes as planned, that would mean we will be busy over the coming months planning and executing a very big, multifaceted move which will include technical audio and video equipment, furniture, clean up, installation, and move-in. Based on all this, it is very doubtful we will be able to show any movies this Fall/Winter as the furniture, staff, and technical equipment will be in multiple and different places until Spring. Please make sure you are on our email list or check our website for more updates. We will keep you informed of all our shows and events as soon as possible!
